Joseph Cave aka Babytwin started life as a solo artist in the grand tradition of such Indie artists as Elliott smith,All time quaterback,Owen and Onelinedrawing. Joseph began Recording his earlier demos around winter 2004,after the break up of his more heavier and juvenile Post-hardcore band The Moonlit Phonecalls.

The “Songs from the ottoman EP” was given out to old friends and fans,and traded between fellow myspace musicians and was received well as a fresher and more eclectic sound to previous ventures. Recently BabyTwin has been taken under the wing of BBC Shropshire DJ Jim hawkins,who has played the track “Of this im sure” on his show a few times over the past months,the response was one of excitment and intrigue to this new and fresh local talent. The plans for 2007 are to gig and promote endlesley, after much of 2005/2006 was spent writing and recording a song book which exceeds over 40 new compositions. Now with a powerful and dynamic live band Featuring the explosive drumming talents of Mr.Sean O hanlon,and the driving bass foundations of Mr.Daniel “Deej” Hiller.

Babytwin has recently been in a transitional period after various shows as a three piece good time rock band.But are on a path of new adventures geared towards the spirit of the original "conception" of Babytwin. Taking cues from artists such as The Beatles, Low,Red house painters,Neil young,Fleet foxes,Chad vangaalen, Tom waits and Daniel johnston.
